Agilent opens ninth calibration center in Americas

By R&D Editors | August 14, 2013

Agilent Technologies Phoenix Calibration Center. This lab is equipped with the required instruments, network analyzer cal kits, power sensors, and accessories to perform Agilent OEM calibration procedures on customers’ high performance instruments up to 50 GHz, such as the N5245A PNA-X Network Analyzer or N9030A PXA Spectrum Analyzer.Agilent Technologies Inc. this week announced the opening of a new calibration center in Phoenix, Ariz. Now owners of Agilent electronic measurement instruments in the area can receive true local OEM calibrations, with measurements performed using OEM procedures for every warranted specification. Keeping instruments calibrated is important to ensure accurate measurements.

The opening of the Phoenix Local Calibration Center comes only two months after the opening of the Greater Toronto Area Local Calibration Center. Between Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, Agilent now operates four major hubs (repair and calibration), nine local calibration centers and 13 mobile calibration teams. In addition, 14 Agilent technicians are co-located on customer sites with calibration labs.

For more information on the location of the nearest calibration lab, visit www.agilent.com/find/assist. Details about the scope-of-accreditation of any of the calibration labs (what measurement parameters they have been assessed to perform) can be found at www.agilent.com/find/accreditation.
