Avizo Fire 7 is advanced 3-D imaging and analysis software designed for core sample analysts and digital rocks engineers. The application facilitates many types of routine tasks or special analysis of rock samples, including dip and strike analysis, fracture network analysis, grains and phases characterization, reconstruction of 3-D rock models and pore networks, permeability and flow studies. From straightforward visualization and measurement to advanced image processing, quantification and skeletonization, it provides an extensive set of tools for 2-D and 3-D visualization and imports 2-D or 3-D images of any size and resolution obtained from a broad range of sources, including CT-scan, micro-CT, nano-CT, synchrotron, MRI, electron microscopy, thin slices and SEM/FIB.
