Bright Cluster Manager 7.1 is integrated with Dell’s 13th generation PowerEdge server portfolio to simplify the management and operation of clusters. The integration enables systems administrators to easily deploy and configure Dell infrastructure using Bright Cluster Manager. Bright and Dell worked together to test and validate optimal settings for a variety of cluster configurations to ensure that users deploying Bright software with Dell hardware will have integrated systems that function together. This extensive testing and optimization maximizes cluster uptime and accelerates IT service delivery by automating and centralizing key functions, such as workload and infrastructure management. The Dell and Bright integration benefits high performance computing (HPC), big data analytics, OpenStack private clouds, and hybrid clusters containing more than one type of workload.
