Color Digital Camera
The RT-KE color digital camera combines the KAI 2000 CCD chip from Kodak and enhanced cooling technology (46°C differential from room temperature). Utilizing a combination of 36 MHz readout, programmable gain, high QE, and color mosaic technology, this camera offers a 19 fps live mode, making finding and focusing quick and easy, even at low light levels. Full resolution 10 bit images can be captured at a speed of 22 fps. The RT-KE package includes the Spot dedicated software for Mac and PC platforms, complete with programmable gain, advanced editing functions, sequential imaging, calibration marks, measurement, database archiving, and report generation. A TWAIN driver is included and third-party software drivers are available. Coupling to the microscope is easily done with a 1.0x C mount adapter.
