A rugged version of the PowerPC blade server, PowerNode5 is a 6U VME clone of the IBM JS20 blade design, providing full binary compatibility with JS20 blade servers, in a form factor adapted to embedded system requirements. Two IBM 970FX processors provide speeds of 1.6 GHz, and up to 2 GB DDR SDRAM ECC memory with a 6.4 GB/s memory peak bandwidth. The product also offers full data transport and management software.
