Multiphysics software developer COMSOL is holding its COMSOL Conference Oct. 9-11 at the Boston Marriott Newton. The event will draw together engineers, scientists and researchers to learn from the leaders in multiphysics simulation and discover the latest tools from COMSOL.
The keynote speakers include: Svante Littmarck of COMSOL, who will introduce COMSOL Multiphysics Version 4.4; Julie Slaughter of Etrema Products, Inc., who will describe the use of multiphysics models in the design and simulation of magnetostrictive transducers; Siddiq Qidwai of the Naval Research Laboratory, speaking about the simulation of microstructure sensitive corrosion pit growth and mechanical performance; and Peter Woytowitz of Lam Research, talking about the symbiotic relationship between Moore’s Law and computational modeling.
The event includes several dozen minicourses, demo station and an exhibition. User presentations, panel discussions and poster sessions will also take place. The conference registration fee grants admission to all events.
