Bioo Scientific released the NEXTflex DNA, ChIP-Seq, and PCR-Free Modules offering increased flexibility to NGS library preparation. Modules are available for each step in the library preparation protocol including end repair, adenylation, ligation and PCR. These products include enzymes, buffers and protocols for NGS library construction. The reagents are suitable for the library preparation from genomic or ChIP DNA for sequencing using Illumina’s GAIIx, HiSeq and MiSeq instruments. These sets provide substantial cost savings over the use of kits for scientists who will be preparing 100 or more samples for sequencing. The master mix modules streamline the workflow by reducing the number of tubes used and the pipetting steps. In combination with up to 96 NEXTflex Barcodes, these modules are ideally suited for high throughput library preparation.
The ligation modules feature Bioo Scientific’s Enhanced Adapter Ligation Technology which results in library preps with a larger number of unique sequencing reads. By making improvements to the ligation enzymatic mix, the user will now have the ability to perform ligations with longer adapters and expect to see better binding efficiencies. Every NEXTflex Module passes rigorous enzymatic quality control and is functionally validated by sequencing on an Illumina platform.
