Enzyme Engineering XXI
The Enzyme Engineering Conferences were initiated in 1971 and have become a leading international forum for the discussion of new developments in enzyme technology and biocatalysis, putting an emphasis on emerging technologies and focusing on both the fundamental and practical aspects.
The proposed scope and thrust of the conference will continue this tradition and will additionally focus on new developments in fields including protein design and computation, catalytic promiscuity, mutant library creation and analysis, directed evolution, synthetic biology, metabolic pathway engineering, genomics and metagenomics. Industrial applications of biocatalysis will be featured and will include new uses in medicine, biotechnology and materials as well as a significant focus upon biofuel production.
The Call for Abstracts will be issued shortly.
