Each year the Lab Design Conference agenda hosts educational sessions on topics of importance to those involved in planning, designing, engineering, constructing and operating laboratory facilities.
The Lab Design Conference is run by Laboratory Design, a sister publication of Controlled Environments.
Experts from the lab design/build community are invited to share their knowledge and advice with their peers by delivering hour-long presentations on topics including engineering, safety and regulations, sustainability, current market trends and more.
Presentations on cleanrooms and other specialty labs are strongly encouraged.

Now in its 18th year, the Lab Design Conference welcomes new members to its faculty, as well as old friends. Read what some of our past speakers have to say about their experience delivering sessions at the Lab Design Conference, and why you should consider submitting a speaker application as well:
“I have attended several conferences, and I have always discovered a new perspective. Last year’s programs were interesting because they talked about Process and not just about a Pretty Building.”—Victoria David, AIA, NCARB, LEED GA, DBIA, DLR Group
“The Lab Design Conference is a great way to learn about complex and progressive labs from all over the U.S. and across the world.”—Jacob Werner, AIA, LEED AP BD+C Wilson Architects
“The Lab Design Conference is an excellent opportunity to meet and learn from your colleagues and to connect with current and future clients. It was great to see what others are doing around the world and I would recommend attending to anyone in the lab design and construction industry.”—Jamie M. Doran, LEED AP BD+C, JacobsWyper
“I really enjoyed participating in the conference. It was extremely informative, very well organized and I learned a lot.”—Punit Jain, AIA, LEED Fellow, CannonDesign
The Lab Design Conference is seeking qualified lab design professionals interested in sharing their experience and knowledge as a member of our faculty. The conference will be April 29-May 1, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, in Orlando, FL.
