GeneSpring GX is a gene expression bioinformatics system that visualizes and analyzes gene expression data. The software provides accurate results when dealing with complex data sets, including t-tests, two- and three-way ANOVA tests, and one-way post-hoc tests for identifying differentially expressed genes. After obtaining the data, the system can recognize complex patterns and their relationships. Some of the statistical analysis functions include gene trees, experiment trees, self-organizing maps and a variety of k-means clustering metrics. Once the data is acquired, the software can highlight enriched pathways or gene ontology categories to relate the data to biology.
