Matrical Bioscience introduced the MatriMix Guide Tube to be used exclusively with the MatriMix Spinner Flask. This reusable Guide Tube is designed to secure dispensers flexible aspiration tubing in the Matrimix. It is made of high grade polycarbonate and delrin.
The MatriMix Spinner Flask is a disposable one-liter flask molded from virgin polycarbonate. The automation friendly flask is fitted with a central magnetic stir paddle that maximizes nutrient flow and minimizes dead volume. It boasts a unique tear-drop shape that breaks up laminar flow and allows for uninterrupted aspiration while spinning. MatriMix enhances throughput and reduces the risk of contamination by eliminating the multiple wash steps between culture transfers. The flask offers media capacity of 75uL – 1000mL (2.5 – 32oz). MatriMix is compatible with the MatriCal Automated Cell Culture System (MACCS) and stand-alone reagent dispensers.
