Hallliburton Co. said Thursday that Jeff Miller has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Miller has held a number of positions at Halliburton, including most recently as senior vice president of global business development and marketing.
The Houston company provides a variety of services for the petroleum industry.
Halliburton shares fell 12 cents to $36.01 in after-hours trading. During the regular session, they declined 28 cents to $36.13.
