IEST, ANSI-credentialed and the world’s leading Contamination Control standards development organization, has opened registration for its Fall Conference. Contamination Control and Nanotechnology Facility professionals from around the world will convene at the Crown Plaza Chicago-O’Hare on November 9 – 12.
Roberta Burrows, IEST’s Executive Direct, explains, “Our meetings are unique because of their depth. You can’t find this many influential events attended by such well-respected industry professionals anywhere else in the industry.”
Fall Conference Working Group Meeting participants will develop the IEST Recommended Practices used by numerous companies around the globe — RPs that also influence other national and international standards.
All course attendees will be awarded CEUs, as well as given the option to earn an ISO certificate. IEST Technical Program Manager, Jenn Sklena, explains, “IEST’s Fall Conference instructors have deep histories in Contamination Control. For example, one of our instructors has been the ISO/TC 209 Secretary since its inception in 1993, and another is currently the head of the ISO/TC 209 US Technical Advisory Group. All of our instructors are authors, industry veterans, respected lecturers, award winners, and/or association leaders.”
Additionally, all who choose to travel to IEST’s Fall Conference will have the valuable opportunity to network with an elite community: almost half of IEST’s membership has been active in the industry for more than 25 years, and 44% hold the position of managers or consultants.
