Imaging Library

This high-level programming library offers an extensive set of optimized functions for image capture, processing, analysis, display and archiving. The Edge Finder tool is the newest addition to the Matrox Imaging Library and is a powerful tool for feature extraction and analysis. It can be used in applications as varied as defect detection, finding objects with significant deformity or finding simple shapes very quickly. It can also be used as a plug-in for the Geometric Model Finder; Edge Finder results can be used to define a model instead of a new image. MIL 7.5 also includes many enhancements to the Optical Character Recognition module.
