Imaging System

MCID Elite features discrete monitors for images and data, wizards, a macro editor, and support for a wide range of peripheral devices. Included are both general imaging functions (including a macro editor), and pre-configured function sets for common applications. These pre-configured “study types” include kinetic fluorescence, receptor autoradiography, gel/blot analysis, stereology, 3-D reconstruction and automated montaging. This software is designed for demanding applications and core imaging facilities. Images generated in this software can be transferred to remote PC’s for analysis with the MCID Analysis software package.
