Interferon ELISA Kit

By R&D Editors | March 2, 2011

pblPBL InterferonSource (PBL), a leading provider of interferon research tools and services, has launched the latest addition to its Multiplex ELISA line, VeriPlex Human Interferon Multiplex ELISA kit.

The new multiplex ELISA kit (powered by Quanysys Biosciences’ Q-Plex Multiplex ELISA technology) allows life scientists, for the first time, to benefit from simultaneously quantifying Human Type I, II, and III interferons as well as related pro-inflammatory cytokines from a single biological sample. The kit is also compatible with serum/plasma samples.

“This new VeriPlex Human Interferon Multiplex ELISA kit emphasizes PBL’s commitment to helping scientists around the world answer key questions in their research,” said Robert Pestka, PBL’s President and CEO. “We have listened and responded to researchers’ need to understand how different types of interferon are related to various disease states. The result is a solution in a simple and cost-effective multiplex ELISA platform that can maximize the amount of information obtained from limited sample sources — it has a detection limit as low as ~3 pg/mL; has a large dynamic range; and is compatible with autoimmune disease matrices. We believe this kit will be extremely important in increasing our understanding of interferon-related immunological events — demonstrating that interferons play integral and diverse roles in many immunological processes.”

The VeriPlex Human Interferon Multiplex ELISA kit is available to scientists and research organizations across the globe.
