Inventory System Updated
The CISPro CIS Chemical Inventory System has been updated to provide a function for the automatic scheduling of materials moves. Ideal for applications where materials and containers are held in stock rooms or warehouses, the inventory management program takes information on upcoming lab projects from all parts of the company and automatically generates daily or weekly lists of chemicals that need to be transferred. This replaces a process involving phone calls, handwritten lists and manual information entry, for significant time savings and improved efficiency. This software was developed specifically for the management and tracking of laboratory chemicals in regulated environments. The new functionality is included in the enterprise system, in versions for SQL- and Oracle-based applications.
