ISC has announced the ISC Cloud & Big Data conference, which has merged into a three-day event to take place in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 28 to 30, 2015. The new format offers attendees two full days of multi-track sessions, highlighting current and future technologies, and applications most relevant in the cloud and big data fields. In addition, there will be one full day of workshops.
ISC Cloud & Big Data is an international conference, and the attendees come from all over the world, mainly Europe — but also from USA, Japan and Russia — to learn about new developments and trends, and to network. ISC is expecting 250 professionals in R&D, engineering, sales and marketing, management, media, analysts from the IT industry.
The ISC team is in the process of designing a unique program that will include the latest developments in cloud technologies for performance-demanding applications, as well as the latest developments in data-intensive computing from both industry players and researchers.
Frankfurt, the conference’s new venue, is one of the largest and most international cities in Germany, and is easily accessible from around the world. This modern city is full of culture and history, and is home to Germany’s most celebrated museum landscape.
The ISC Group has 30 years of professional conference organization experience covering a wide range of topics in the supercomputing industry. ISC Group is the organizer of the ISC High Performance and ISC Cloud & Big Data conferences.
ISC High Performance, formerly known as ISC (the International Supercomputing Conference), is the world’s oldest and Europe’s foremost HPC conference. Its history dates back 30 years, when in 1986 the late Hans Werner Meuer, in his capacity as the director of the Mannheim Computing Center and professor for computer science, organized the world’s first “Supercomputer Seminar” at Mannheim University. In its inaugural year, it drew 81 attendees, mostly German-speaking. Today it is valued by over 2,600 international attendees as a “must attend” HPC event.
