Dear Cloud friends and colleagues,
Based on the remarkable success of the last four ISC Cloud conferences and the growing interest in Cloud Computing in areas such as High Performance Computing (HPC) and Digital Manufacturing, the ISC Events organizers decided to conduct the ISC Cloud conference next fall once again. The ISC Cloud’14 event will be held on September 29th and 30th at the Heidelberg Marriott, followed by ISC Big Data’14.
We are seeing a continuously growing interest in high performance technical and scientific computing among researchers, engineers, hardware and software providers, and consulting companies to participate in this event, as there is no other conference that is dedicated to addressing HPC Cloud topics in such depth and quality. The addition of digital manufacturing in CAE and the Life Sciences into last year’s program made the ISC Cloud’13 an absolute highlight.
Following the recommendations of our participants, this year, we will be inviting expert speakers with hands-on experience reporting on advanced achievement, providing all attendees insightful and practical details about the benefits, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations. This conference is highly valuable for members of the scientific and engineering communities who want to understand this massive trend of mainstream HPC and Cloud.
Because of their utilitarian usage model, Clouds will surely revolutionize how HPC is applied. Clouds will make HPC and data processing genuinely mainstream, paving the way to HPC as a Service.
