The IX71 inverted research microscope is designed for advanced live cell applications. It features a modular frame and optical design that provides nine access ports for multiple input and output devices, making the system ready for multi-wavelength, advanced fluorescence applications. At its heart is a two-tiered, V-shaped optical design that provides access to nine input/output ports including the new upper and lower rear ports. Rear ports allow the mounting of a confocal scan head without having to modify the stage height or fluorescence ray path and also facilitates the rear mounting of accessories while keeping the sides of the microscope free for additional equipment. Up to four ports can have simultaneous access to a primary image. The single reflection V-shaped light path and improved apochromatic relay lens maintain the highest possible image intensity and optical correction level, making fluorescence images brighter.Booth #5170
