NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) – Health care company Johnson & Johnson says it named the leaders of two key divisions as vice chairmen of the executive committee, and says they will join Chairman and CEO William Weldon in an expanded office of the chairman.
The company says pharmaceuticals division Chairwoman Sheri McCoy and medical devices and diagnostics division Chairman Alex Gorsky will join Weldon effective Jan. 3.
McCoy’s expanded responsibilities will include the consumer group, the corporate office of science and technology and corporate affairs. Gorsky will add global supply chain, government affairs and policy and the Johnson & Johnson Development Corp. to his responsibilities.
Human Resources Vice President Peter M. Fasolo also will join the executive committee and focus on talent development and succession planning at all corporate levels.
