LIMS 2006 Products of the Year Winner: Galileo

The Galileo LIMS commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application allows users to design, calculate and graph in vitro ADME/Tox experiments. Features include automatic results flagging; user-configurable decision trees to define scenarios under which flagged results require further review; rapid study entry to accelerate the entry of concentration or raw data from analytical instrument into the LIMS; an “IC50 shift” experiment type that elucidates enzyme inactivation; and support for PAMPA permeability studies, which are important in early screening of compounds.
