MapleSim 2 is a high-performance, multi-domain modeling and simulation tool. It features 3-D visualization and animation tools for changing multibody models into realistic animations and tools for managing results from multiple simulations. A symbolic computing tool combines with traditional numeric solvers to make simulation and modeling more efficient. The software allows for mixing physical components with traditional signal-flow diagrams and can incorporate data from external sources such as empirical signals and lookup tables. It is built on Maple technical computing software, allowing it to automatically generate equations using templates and a supporting command library.
