Matrix ICMS provides a method of maintaining records of all equipment on a company site. Originally designed for laboratory equipment applications, the latest version is suitable for all equipment and devices that require records of calibration and maintenance. The system holds and reports on three classes of important information — instrument inventory, instrument calibration and instrument maintenance. It schedules calibration and maintenance intervals and issues reminders when the next action is needed. When used with the Matrix LIMS it ensures that only valid instruments are scheduled for testing. In addition, an instrument system (e.g. HPLC) can be linked to components (e.g. detector or pump) that can be individually managed. The system can be supplied as a standalone product with a suite of reports and a typical screen configuration that is installable out-of-the-box. Alternatively, it can be supplied as a configurable system allowing screen and menu changes.
