The 108th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology will convene in Boston, June 1 to June 5, 2008. The scientific program features nearly 300 individual colloquia, symposia, roundtable discussions, award lectures, & poster sessions.
The general meeting covers fundamental microbial cell biology, genetics and physiology, environmental and applied microbiology and microbial ecology, pathogenesis and clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. The program is designed to showcase state of the art science, update experts in their own field, and allow participants to explore areas of microbiology that are outside of their realm of expertise.
