Microscope Systems

By R&D Editors | January 9, 2014

Olympus launches its IX3 series of microscope systems, designed to provide optical flexibility via a customizable light path.

The IX83 model is the most advanced member of the IX3 series of imaging systems for life science researchers. Users can choose from the one-deck system with ergonomic low stage height or the two-deck system with additional expansion capabilities. Both provide long term time-lapse imaging, as well as routine testing and documentation. Users can mold the components and controls to best suit their workflow.

The IX73 inverted microscope system is used for live cell imaging. Manual encoded or semi-motorized options enable configurations with a variety of component combinations. The IX73 is available as a one-deck system with ergonomic low stage height or as a two-deck system with additional expansion capabilities.

The IX53 is intended for routine microscopic analysis. Its features include pre-centered phase contrast, relief contrast, and a flexible UIS2 DIC system to enable easy manipulation across all magnifications for thin and thick specimens. Condensers with different working distances and long working objectives allow observation and documentation in even the most complex sample devices.
