Moon Jellyfish
This photo shows a moon jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) in the Pairi Daiza aquarium in Belgium. Due to the lighting, the organism in displayed in false color.
Drifting with the current, Aurelia feeds on plankton, including mollusks, crustaceans, tunicate larvae, rotifers, young polychaetes, protozoans, diatoms, eggs, fish eggs, and other small organisms.
