Olympus Canada to Distribute Hitachi TM3000

Olympus Canada Inc. and Hitachi High-Technologies Canada have announced a new partnership making Olympus the exclusive distributor of the new TM3000 Table Top Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) in Canada.

Olympus and Hitachi have a long history in Canada for providing quality imaging products and innovative solutions to the laboratory and Research markets. This new generation in fully–automated, table-top SEM, with its ground-breaking achievement of 30,000X magnification, superior depth of field, ease of use, compact size and affordability, make it the perfect complement to the Olympus portfolio of optical microscopes and digital cameras. The TM-3000 provides a powerful imaging solution to lab technicians and researchers who require an imaging system that reaches beyond the range of the light microscope. Requiring no special EM technical skills or sample preparation techniques due to variable pressure, the TM-3000 can be used by anyone able to use a consumer digital camera; it’s that easy!

The TM3000 offers a dramatic improvement in all the features of the earlier TM-1000 device and is expected to have an immediate impact in areas ranging from R&D to quality assurance in a host of fields including materials, semiconductor, food products, nano and biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical and education.

With the addition of this new exciting product Olympus Canada can now offer a complete range of imaging solutions from macro-to-nano to meet the most demanding inspection requirements of modern industry.
