Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.announced that all Thermo Scientific PCR and RT-PCR kits are now available with deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs), providing in one kit everything that is required for the amplification of DNA and RNA targets.
Thermo Scientific PCR and RT-PCR reagents are available in kit or master mix formats, containing all the components required for successful DNA or RNA amplification, including specially developed enzymes, optimized buffering components, ultrapure MgCl2 and high-performance dNTPs. In the kit format, these components are supplied individually, offering maximum flexibility for individual applications. In the master mix format, the components are pre-blended and supplied in a single vial.
The inclusion of dNTPs in the Thermo Scientific PCR and RT-PCR kits can save time in the sourcing of components. All that is required is the addition of reaction-specific template and primers.
