The EFS F5 Rigid Pocket Filter from Advanced Filtration Concepts is constructed to withstand extreme humidity, high velocities, and turbulence, and is intended for all types of air handling systems.
The self-supported filter pockets stay rigid in the air stream, and the filter element is free of metal parts in order to eliminate the risk of corrosion and punctures. A corrosion-free polyurethane header ensures a leak-proof bonding of pockets to the header.
The synthetic media is rated at ASHRAE 45 to 50%, MERV 8. Non-shedding fibers are designed to resist moisture and chemicals, as well as to resist bacteria growth. The lightweight design is intended to provide low-cost transport and disposal, and spacers channel the air entering the pocket to provide a low pressure drop.
