PowerEdge Servers and Precision Workstations
Ninth-generation PowerEdge servers and Precision workstations now include standards-based quad-core processors. With the addition of Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors to the two-socket PowerEdge 1900, 1950, 2950, 2900, SC1430 and 1955 blade models, these servers offer up to 63 percent higher performance with up to 40 percent enhanced performance per watt. For the Precision desktop line, quad-core processors combined with scalable memory architecture and OpenGL graphics mean users can handle more demanding multi-threaded applications.
