The ProLiant SL6000 scalable system is a standards-based multi-node system designed specifically for scale-out environments. This architecture enables customers to double their compute density while reducing acquisition costs by up to 10 percent and power draw by 28 percent compared with similarly sized data management systems. Unrestricted airflow through a shared power and cooling infrastructure in a 2U chassis lessens fan load, and servers weigh 31 percent less than traditional options. Three different customizable tray layouts focus on large memory, large storage, or high-density configurations. Front system cabling enables access to system components.
