JMP links statistics and graphics allowing users to explore data, make discoveries and gain knowledge for better decision making. The Design of Experiments (DOE) facility allows users to customize experiments, testing various factors and responses, to gain the greatest insight from the least resources. The software features exploratory platforms to make it easier to discover the underlying patterns in data that enable organizations to produce top-quality products. It introduces new exploratory modeling options that also help users get to the root cause of a problem even when there is no model identified, when there are multiple variables with non-linear relationships, or when there are underlying factors not measured in the data. Cause-and-effect diagrams help users to understand key factors that impact processes, so that DOE can be used to optimize the process surrounding those key factors.
