Integrated DNA Technologies’ genome-wide PrimeTime qPCR Primers are the same pairs used in the PrimeTime qPCR Assays, selected to detect and quantify gene expression in human, mouse, and rat transcriptomes. The primers have a pair of pre-mixed primers, normalized to 5 nmoles—enough for 500 20-µL qPCR reactions with an efficiency of 90%.
The primers use sequence information, melting temperature (Tm), and secondary structure predictions. Each is Blast-searched to eliminate off-target effects and avoid single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
Compatible with master mixes, the primers have been used under normal and fast cycling parameters and can be used with Sybr Green’s EvaGreen, and other intercalating dyes in qPCR assays.
