The researchers at Boston Dynamics, a robotics company owned by Google, posted a video yesterday testing the Atlas prototype’s durability. Atlas’s purpose is to navigate treacherous terrain easily overcoming any obstacles placed in its path.

Atlas is able to withstand a beating in the video. The scientists try everything from having the robot traverse through a snowy environment without losing its balance to making a member of the team push Atlas to the ground.
