Security Suite With E-mail Encryption
CompuSec 4.15 includes functions to encrypt and digitally sign e-mail, which aims to extend the range of security features provided in one single product. This new e-mail encryption feature supports Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. Using the smart card-based e-Identity tokens to store the digital certificates needed for the e-mail security, users will be protected from known attacks that can spy out PIN numbers. Users will appreciate this solution, because it eases the use of e-mail encryption. There is no PIN number to be entered when e-mails are sent or received. The digital certificates from the e-Identity are automatically recognized when a user logs on at the computer. The e-mail security uses the S-MIME standard to guarantee the seamless exchange with other users who are not using the software.
