Seymour Cray and Sidney Fernbach Awards Accepting Nominations
Nominations for the IEEE Computer Society Seymour Cray and Sidney Fernbach Awards are due July 1, 2010. Sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society, these prestigious honors are presented during special sessions held during the SC10 conference.
The Seymour Cray Computer Science and Engineering Award recognizes innovative contributions to HPC systems that best exemplify the creative spirit of Seymour Cray. The SC10 recipient will be awarded a crystal memento, an illuminated certificate and a $10,000 honorarium.

The Sidney Fernbach Memorial Award honors innovative uses of HPC in problem solving. The recipient will receive a certificate and $2,000 for outstanding contributions in the application of high performance computers using innovative approaches.
