A new software add-on incorporates Absolv parameters to increase accuracy of retention times predicted by ACD/ChromGenius. ChromGenius allows you to select the best generic separation method for a sample prior to injecting, and predict retention times and chromatograms based on the structures of the compounds to be separated. Train ChromGenius by adding your own experimental separation methods and proprietary structures to the reference database. The new Absolv add-on further increases accuracy by evaluating Abraham solvation parameters calculated from chemical structures. ACD/ChromGenius can help drastically reduce the number of screening experiments needed to develop robust methods, and can help eliminate the trial-and-error approach to method development.
