Swift Energy Co. has resumed its Louisiana operations affected by Hurricane Isaac.
Houston-based Swift Energy on Wednesday announced production has resumed at its Lake Washington Field in Plaquemines Parish and Bay de Chene Field in Jefferson and Lafourche Parishes.
Those sites closed Aug. 26. Isaac made landfall Aug. 28 near the mouth of the Mississippi River in southeastern Louisiana.
The company reports minor storm damage but says prolonged poor weather has further delayed production.
Swift Energy is an independent oil and natural gas company with operations mainly in Texas and Louisiana.
