The CEO of Uranium Resources has resigned in order to pursue other opportunities.
The uranium development company said Thursday that the resignation of Donald C. Ewigleben, who also serves as president, chief operating officer and a board member, is effective on Sept. 28.
Uranium Resources Inc. named board member Terence Cryan as interim president and CEO.
The Lewisville, Texas company says it will immediately start a search for a replacement CEO.
Its shares finished at 58 cents on Wednesday. They have risen from a 52-week low of 39 cents on Sept, 4. They peaked for the past year at $1.47 per share last October.
