Spectra-Physics, a Newport company, introduces Talon 355-15, an addition to its Talon family of disruptive Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers. The laser delivers >15 W UV power, >300 µJ pulse energy, and a wide-repetition-rate range of 0 to 500 kHz. Talon 355-15 is suitable for powering 24/7 manufacturing of PCBs, semiconductors, LEDs, ceramics, flat panel displays, solar cells, glass, and many other devices and materials.
Available in >15, >12 and >6 W UV and >20 W green versions, Talon combines power supply and laser head into a single, common rugged package for simple system integration and intermixing between models to achieve specific end customer requirements.
