Venus Flytrap Anemone
This photo of a Venus flytrap sea anemone (Actinoscyphia aurelia) was taken in the Gulf of Mexico.
These large sea anemone resemble the carnivorous Venus Flytrap plant. The sea anamone closes its tentacles to protect itself or capture prey.
