Microsoft has made available their beta super-computing power to more users through familiar technologies and tools like Microsoft Excel, Windows HPC Server and Visual Studio. The most recent release of the HPC Server delivers increased productivity, performance and ease-of-use through improved scalability, new configuration and deployment options, improved system management, diagnostics and reporting, more support for SOA workloads, an MPI networking interface and accelerated Excel workbook options.
