The Blade 2000 workstation is a 1 GHz 64-bit workstation, providing advanced compute performance and high-end 3-D visualization capabilities. The system accommodates up to two Superscalar, 64-bit, high-performance UltraSPARC III Cu CPUs. It features a high-performance, crossbar-switch system interconnect that provides high bandwidth (up to 4 GBps) for ultra-high-speed processors and graphic subsystems. It also includes a 64-bit PCI bus for fast I/O. The workstation provides both USB and IEEE 1394 interfaces for connectivity to third-party peripherals.
