Product Description:A 250 kW, 30 kW/kg motor drive consisting of silicon carbide electronics and advanced controls was experimentally FAA-qualified and demonstrated in a Cessna hybrid electric aircraft. It drives a permanent magnet motor from an 800V battery, and is utilized during taxi, takeoff and cruise to minimize fossil fuel use.
