Product Description:The AS-750 family of Wideband Conformal Continuous-Slot Antenna Arrays use a new array technology that will enable existing and future naval platforms to support communication intelligence (COMINT) systems' need to perform previously unachievable high performance signals processing of increasingly sophisticated and complex UHF and SHF frequency communication signals.
SwRI engineers designed the cylindrical slot array to fit near the base of this shipboard antenna to take advantage of existing unused space, extending the operating frequency range of the antenna while avoiding an expensive redesign of the upper mast.
