Chromatography 2003 Top Products Award Winner: Empower CDS

Empower Software now offers chromatographers ApexTrack, a new integration algorithm. ApexTrack is the basis of a new integration package that is included in the CDS that automatically determines appropriate integration parameter settings, integrates negative and small peaks effectively, easily detects peak shoulders and offers Gaussian skimming of coeluted peaks. These advantages result in improved performance reflected in faster method development and a reduction in manual integration. The feature used to detect a peak is the peak’s apex and baselines are drawn using a search algorithm that begins from each peak’s apex and works downward and outward.
