Controlled Environments Announces Fifth Annual Readers’ Choice Awards

By MaryBeth DiDonna | January 23, 2019

Controlled Environments is proud to announce its fifth annual Readers’ Choice Awards for the Best Cleanroom Products of the Year. The awards celebrate excellence in product design and performance for tools, equipment and materials used in all areas of clean and controlled environment performance and operation.

Equipment and product suppliers are invited to submit their products for this prestigious award. There is no fee to enter. All entries must be received by 5 pm Eastern Time on Friday, February 8, 2019.

The winning products will be featured in the April 2019 issue of Pharmaceutical Processing/Controlled Environments. They will also be celebrated on our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social media accounts. Winners will also receive a certificate as a Best Cleanroom Product of 2019.

Eligibility

Products submitted for consideration in this competition should be: 1) used in a clean or controlled environment; 2) currently available for purchase or license; 3) released within the past year.

Please note: Products submitted to previous Readers’ Choice contests are not eligible for the 2019 contest.

One winner will be selected in each of the following categories:

  • Apparel
  • Benches, Enclosures
  • Cleanroom Components
  • Cleanroom Consumables
  • Critical Cleaning
  • Furniture
  • Monitoring/Instrumentation
  • Water/Chemical/Gases and Related Equipment

How to Enter

Please read the instructions below carefully to make sure your entry includes all the necessary items for submission.

Product description

Submitters must provide a rational technical discussion, using 250 words, as to why the product should receive an award. URLs may be provided where additional information on the submitted product may be obtained but will not be accepted in lieu of the 250-word description.

This description will be used for judging—if your product is among the winners it will also be included in a feature article. Please focus on specifics about the product and its application(s). Superlative and comparative language will be edited.

Hi-res image

Each submission must be accompanied by one hi-res image (300 dpi or higher). The image must be a product shot only. Images that include descriptive text or product data may be disqualified.

Entry submission and deadline

There is a three (3) product limit submitted by an individual submitter or organization. There is no entry fee. If you are submitting more than one product, you must submit each separately. Incomplete entries will not be considered for an award.

Please email your complete entry to [email protected]. Please put “Readers’ Choice Entry” as the subject line.

Please attach to your entry email:

  • A Word doc that contains the name of the product, the 250-word product description and your name and contact information.
  • Separate hi-res product image (do not embed the image in the Word doc)

All entries must be received by 5 pm Eastern Time on Friday, February 8, 2019.

If you have additional questions about the Readers’ Choice Awards, please contact MaryBeth DiDonna, Editor of Controlled Environments, at [email protected] or 973-920-7045.

Good luck!
