Data Domain DD670 Deduplication Storage System 

Data Domain DD670 incorporates the Nehalem-based Intel Xeon Processor 5500 Series. It uses recently released Data Domain Boost software and can be used as a virtual tape library. The company also announced its new EMC Disk Library 5000 series, as well as a new deduplication storage expansion option for its Disk Library for Mainframe system. In addition, two terabyte (TB) disk drives are now supported in expansion shelves for the DD670.
