Manugistics and Sun Sign Reseller Agreement

Manugistics and Sun Sign Reseller Agreement

Sun Microsystems. and Manugistics announced an expansion of their strategic relationship, making Manugistics a certified reseller of the Sun Java System Application Server, a preferred platform for Manugistics web-based collaborative planning solutions. Manugistics, a leading global provider of supply and demand chain management solutions, will also resell the Sun Java System Identity Server and Sun Java System Directory Server as the preferred platform for secure authentication and user profile management respectively.

The expanded relationship is expected to allow customers across industries from manufacturing and retail to government and transportation can accelerate the deployment of flexible solutions that are built to be easily integrated into existing operations, and designed to scale as business requirements and priorities evolve. In this more affordable IT environment, clients also benefit from improved access to critical supply and demand chain applications and data across an extended enterprise. The agreement also helps wipe out costs associated with onsite integration and complexity through seamless integration of key Sun Java System applications.
